Common faults and treatment methods of thermal resistanceThe common thermal resistance is the most commonly used temperature detector in the low-temperature zone. It is not only widely used in industrial measurement, but also made into a standard reference thermometer. The following analysis of four common fault phenomena and treatment methods: 1. Fault phenomenon: The indication value of the display thermal resistance is lower than the actual value or the indication value is unstable; Possible causes: metal chips, dust, dirt between the terminals and short circuit of the thermal resistance in the protection tube; Treatment method: remove metal shavings, clean dust, water droplets, etc., find the short-circuit point to strengthen the insulation. 2. Fault phenomenon: the table of the thermal resistance indicates infinity; Possible causes: short circuit of the thermal resistance or the lead wire or loosening of the terminal; Treatment method: replace the resistor body or weld and tighten the terminal screws. 3. Fault phenomenon: the display meter indicates a negative value; Possible causes: the display instrument and the thermal resistance wiring are wrong or the thermal resistance is short-circuited; Treatment: Correct the wiring, or find the short circuit and strengthen the insulation. 4. Fault phenomenon: the relationship between the thermal resistance value and the temperature changes; Possible cause: The thermal resistance wire material is corroded and deteriorated; Treatment method: Replace the thermal resistance. |
